Today dog cancer treatments are so advanced and will give your dog the best chance of surviving certain types of cancers. Science has come a long way with both human and animal science and today we all live longer lives with the break throughs that have been discovered to conquer diseases that in days gone past would’ve killed us at a much earlier age.
Man’s best friend has benefited from science with surgery not only for cancer but treatments for other ailments of eyes, ears, diabetes and arthritis treatments readily available to improve your dog’s health.
Sometimes if cancers an inoperable chemotherapy and radiation is also offered to extend life of the animal and that will be a discussion and choice that you would need to make with your vet. Dog cancer treatments can be further enhanced by changing the diet of the dog obviously discuss this with your vet first before trying any different types of foods etc.
