26 Dec 11 Why Ferrets Make Great Pets
Ferrets make great pets for anyone who wants an entertaining and charming four-footed friend. These little furry clowns have a tendency to make you laugh and some of them can be quite affectionate and fun to be around. If you take the time to train your ferret properly, you can even entertain yourself by watching him do tricks.
As with any pet, you want to spend time with your ferret and handle him so that he is used to people and is very friendly. You also want to train him to go in the litter box which can be very easy especially since they usually back up into a corner to do their business so placing the litter box in every corner can easily increase your chances of him hitting the mark.
Ferrets do take a little bit more care than a dog or cat because you must ensure that they get the proper nutrition in order to survive. Make sure they have a nice cage and a lot of toys and you’ll have a pet that you’re not soon forget.
