14 Aug 10 Dog Shock Collar To Stop Dog Barking

Excessive barking is a trait found in many dogs, especially small ones, and can be extremely frustrating. We all love our dogs and would do just about anything for them but the constant yapping at times can be too much to bear.

Luckily there is a special collar that has introduced to the market years ago that helps individuals solve this problem. They are called “dog shock collar” and they can effectively stop your dog from barking.

Understanding the dog shock collar

It’s important to understand, especially if you are hesitant about using a dog shock collar, that having your dog wear one doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to shock your dog. These collars come with different settings, such as sound and vibrate, in addition to the shock setting. Using the alternate methods other than the shock setting can be enough to deter even the most ill-behaved dog to do what he’s told.

Types of Dog Shock Collars

Bark activated
# Some dog shock collars help to curb a dog’s excessive barking. When your dog starts barking, the collar sends off a warning signal, usually a beeping noise, to warn your dog a shock is coming if he continues to bark.

Remote control
# Remote-control shock collars work for a variety of training situations. Dog owners send the shock to their dog via remote control.

Hunting
# Electronic hunting collars are an advanced version of the remote-control collar, with a number of advanced features useful for dogs out hunting.
