We just had our firts rain last night… first real rain since last winter… it actually rained enough to get everything wet and that meant that my pet Milo last night was a bit confused and thrown off his regular routine. Normally he manages to spend time hanging out all over the house – indoors and out – but last night – his favorite spots outside were too damp for comfort!
Usually he hangs in front of the sliding door on my porch but since that was getting some of the rain remnants he disppeared. I tried to find him and sure enough he was laying next to the toilet in the bathroom. How odd is that?
And as far as going pee pee… he held it in long time. He didn’t go out to go to the bahroon – even in between showers when I tried to get him out. Finally when nothing else worked I grabbed the leash and put on my shoes and jackets and bribed him with a walk. He can never refuse those! Amd we went in front of the house so he could do his business. Success!
We all have our routines and we don’t like to get thrown off the track! Funny how a little rain can make things a little weirder!
But that’s ok… we erarely get rain here in SOuthern California, so a night off once in awhile is ok by me!
