Cat Stroller
Last year I was looking through a mail order catalog that features a wide range of items. Most of the items are for gift giving or holiday decorating. The company puts out a catalog for each season of the year and includes the holidays of the season. They have a special section for pets. In this section they have pet toys, clothing and treats. In the catalog I was looking through they had a new item, a cat stroller. I immediately decided that this is what I wanted for my birthday present.
I showed the picture of the cat stroller to my husband and asked him to get it for me as my birthday present. He thought this was too strange. He said that the cats would not go in the stroller. I have two cats. They are both indoor cats, but they love to go outside. I thought this would be a fun way for them to be outside with me and still be safe. The cat stroller looks like a baby stroller except there is a zipped screen that covers the opening. You place the cat inside the stroller then zip it shut, preventing them from jumping out. The screen material allows them to look out.
My husband told me to order the cat stroller if I wanted it, but he cautioned that I should not leave the yard with it the first few times I had the cats out, in case something would go wrong and they figured out how to escape. When the cat stroller arrived I was very excited to use it. I brought the stroller in the house and put both cats in it. One of my cats is a twenty pound seal point Siamese. The other is a ten pound alley cat. It was a tight fit, but I managed to get the screen covering zipped. I then carried the stroller down the steps and rolled down the driveway. The cats were fighting and meowing the entire time. I rolled down our driveway and walked the short distance to the neighbor's house and rolled up their driveway. They saw me coming through their windows and came out to see if I was babysitting one of our grandchildren. They could not believe that I had the two cats in the carriage. The cats were not happy and they continued to meow and fight with each other. The smaller cat has her claws and she had one caught in the screening. I managed to get the stroller home and let the cats out on the step. On the way home one of the wheels came off the front of the cat stroller. As I was taking the cats out I noticed the warning that stated that the stroller had a twenty pound capacity. I have used the stroller with one cat at a time; they do not like their walks as much as I thought they would. Most of the time the cat stroller hangs in the garage and the cats sleep in the house.

Cats are pretty moody animals. If you want a companion that you
can depend on to always be in a playful mood, get a dog. Cat owners
are moody sort themselves, and they own moody pets. Cats do not
always want to play with you, and sometimes they don't want anything
to do with you. Nonetheless, when they are in the mood for fun
and games they can be extremely entertaining companions. They will
chase streamers around, getting tangled in balls of yarn, and even
play tug-of-war on occasion. Of course, having the right cat toys
helps.
One of the first things that you should realize is that almost
anything can be a cat toy. The key is to understand the cats psychology.
Cats are hunters, and stealthy ones at that. They love to be able
to sneak up on something. As such, one of the most entertaining
cat toys is a simple string.
If it has something shiny and the end of it, or bobs up and down
in an interesting and animated manner, so much the better. You
can, however, play this game with nothing but a ribbon. You hang
in front of the cat as it crouches is in the corner and tries to
be inconspicuous. It will stalk the string, waiting for the right
moment to pounce. When it does, you can yank the string up and
out of the cat's reached just in the nick of time. It helps if
you let the cat catch the cat toys every once in a while. It keeps
it entertained and lets it feel that it is doing well.
Of course, there are also cat toys that cats can play with on their
own. Many of the most popular pet gifts are basically variations
of squeaky toys. Squeaky mice are especially popular cat toys.
Personally, I don't think cats care whether a rubber squeaky toy
is a mouse, a rat, or a lion. All that matters is that it is a
small critter that squeaks when the cat pounces on it.
Cat toys can actually provide a useful function as well as being
fun. When you have to take care of your cat, it can be nice to
keep distracted. With the right cat grooming supplies, you can
clean out old matted fur very quickly. Nonetheless, if the cat
has something to mess with and chew on while you are grooming it,
it makes things easier for both of you.

My mom has the cutest little dog. I don't have one, but if I did,
I would have one just like hers. Her name is Curly Sue and she's
a bundle of attitude most of the time, but it's not really bad
attitude. She's just spunky and everyone falls in love with her
instantly. She has a lot of toys, but her favorite is one particular
chew toy that is shaped like a hotdog. I'm not sure what makes
it different than any of the other toys that she has, but it is
the one she seems to love more than all the rest.
We often find her chew toys lodged somewhere as if she were trying
to hide it. She's not good at hiding it though. She always puts
it somewhere that is easy for us to find, and is usually in a chair
or somewhere like that. We might sit on it, and she comes running
to get it away from us. It's as if she thinks we keep taking the
chew toy out of her clever hiding place, but in reality she's not
hiding it anywhere special. On the other hand, perhaps she's cleverer
than we give her credit for. She may leave it where she does just
so she can come get it from us.
I'm afraid her favorite chew toy is on its last leg, and I'm not
even sure if we can find a replacement. Though the chew toy has
only been her favorite for a little less than a year, it was purchased
a long time ago. The chew toy sat in the closet for a long time
before my mom gave it to her. I don't know where she bought it
all those years ago, and I doubt we can find the same one today.
When the toy falls apart, I don't know what she is going to do.
Most dogs seem to have a favorite chew toy that they just can't
seem to part with. If your dog takes a shine to a certain one,
you may want to go out and get a few replacements while you can.
That way if a chew toy falls apart from too much love you have
a spare to replace it. Though it may seem like just a toy to you,
if a dog loves a certain chew toy it becomes like a friend to them,
and they may be devastated when it's gone.

I don't know about you, but excepting those who are allergic to
the heavenly substance, I don't know anyone who doesn't like chocolate.
Perhaps it reflects on my taste in friends. Nonetheless, there
are not many people who don't like chocolates. So when you're looking
for a gift, you need ask only one question: does so-and-so like
chocolate? If so, it's an easy task to get online and find some
fine chocolates for your friend. In fact, there are so many chocolates
online, the challenge is choosing which ones are most delectable.
Chocolate has many connotations and associations, all of them good!

In Europe, chocolatiers have been perfecting the chocolate candy
for centuries and have, arguably, perfected their art. Belgium,
Switzerland and France all vie for the reputation for the finest

in the specially heated trucks which transport the warm, melted
chocolate straight to the chocolate factory, where it's immediately
set upon by chocolate artisans for production. The reasoning is

accounts for the exceptionally smooth quality of a fine Belgian
chocolate.
However, you may find chocolates online from fine French chocolate
artisans which are just as magnificent. Chocolate lovers don't

food production and consumption. Chocolate is no exception.
You'll also find a plentiful supply of the Swiss chocolates online.
The Swiss chocolates tend to be creamier, with that famous melt-in-your-mouth
sensation of coolness that you can't quite describe.
If you're not well schooled in the appreciation of chocolate, you
can't go wrong with any Belgian, French or Swiss chocolate. They
are a bit pricier than the run of the mill chocolates, but they
are indeed worth the price.
So what distinguishes the best chocolates? The percentage of cocoa
butter and quality of the chocolate sums it up. Recently, European
chocolates and American copycats - or transported European chocolatiers
- have become widely available here in the U.S. You'll notice the
labels boast of its European origin and percentages of cocoa butter
contained in the confection.
The number of websites selling chocolates online is enormous. The
chocolate gift market is quite competitive, so the chocolatiers
may compete on the basis of the most lovely presentation and packaging.
If the chocolate is superior quality, you can pretty much go with

Circle Of Friends
There are times when it is very difficult to come up with gift
ideas for others. Some people are easy to buy for and others are
much more difficult. I was faced with needing to buy gifts for
three of my friends that have meant a great deal to me. Four years
ago my husband died. It was a very sudden death and my world cam
crashing down around me. We had a very close and loving marriage.
We were unable to have children so we spent a great deal of time
together. When he died a huge hole entered my life. If it had not

thought I would make this large of commitment again. My friends
are very excited for me and they played a major role in planning
the ceremony and reception of my second marriage. I wanted to buy
them each a gift that would let them know how much their support
and love has meant to me. I thought of a piece of jewelry for each.
I went shopping to see what I could find. On my way to a jewelry
store I saw a display for the circle of friends candles. This seemed
like the perfect gift. The circle of friends creates the candle
holder and the candle sits on top. The holder to me represented
a group of people helping to keep the flame burning. This was what
my circle of friends had done for me through the dark years of
my grief. There were times that they not only supplied the support,
but the flame as well. What a perfect gift.
I bought three of the circle of friends holders as well as a unique
scented candle for each of my friends. The holders were carved
from wood. It is three wooden figures that are holding hands creating
a circle. In the middle of the circle is a raised platform to place
a candle. The wood carving is very basic the figures do not have
any features and could be male or female. I thought this so represented
my experience that I went back and bought another for my new husband
and I to have in our home. I wanted to have a constant reminder
that no matter what happens in my life my friends will be there
to support me.
