Barbie Horse Adventure
Just about every little girl wishes that she had a pony at one time or another in her life. While the idea of giving your daughter everything she wants is appealing, you know that buying the real thing is not an option. Fortunately, Barbie Horse Adventure is here to help you find a happy medium.

I'm not much for computer games but the Barbie Horse Adventure is a real treat for nearly every little girl. My niece spent an afternoon showing me how the program works beginning with her selecting her very own horse. Once she chose a pet of her own she also showed that she understood that caring for one takes responsibility.
She described how she had to make sure to feed and groom her pony. She also noted that clean-up after this large pet is far from simple. After showing me some ins and outs of the Barbie Horse Adventure I began to realize how fast she is really growing. My niece has grown from a toddler into a young, responsible girl.
Of course, I don't attribute the whole thing to the Barbie Horse Adventure but I do think that the game is ideal for teaching a young child responsibility. I also think that she is a little more realistic about owning a pony of her very own.
She talks about how much work it is to take care of such a pet. She notes the mess and the amount of time it takes to groom feed and care for a big animal like a horse. The Barbie Horse Adventure is a great learning tool that offers a pretty fun but realistic look into the life of a horse owner.
Not only has the Barbie Horse Adventure taught my niece the ins and outs of owning a horse it also has taught her that some pets are best left in the imagination.
Bark Control Collars
Not everyone is in agreement when it comes to domestic animal restraints. You may have a pet of your own. My money is one a dog or cat. After all, these two are the most popular house pets any way you cut it. As far as cats are concerned, you probably don't have to do much in order to control them. They basically lurk around the house like they own it and don't make too much noise. Dogs on the other hand are a different story. Depending on the size of your dog, you may leave him/her outdoors or at least send him outside on a routine basis. So, what do you do if he/she begins to bark, rant and rave? How can you control the obnoxious, yet normal behavior of your pooch? Well, there are always bark control collars.
I'm kind of on the fence when it comes to accessories like bark control collars and shock devices for animals. I mean, you have to wonder how much it's really hurting them. God knows we're not about to strap one on and give it a shot. It's a bit amusing though when you read the product descriptions. I believe they generally call the negative reinforcement STATIC. Hmm, so the dog receives a "static" charge from the bark control collars? It's definitely got to be a euphemism. Static certainly sounds more gentle than SHOCK. Furthermore, it really stinks to have to muffle our pets as though they're not aloud to live and function as they're designed to. And if they do decide to acts NORMAL, we buzz them back to reality with high-tech bark control collars It truly does seem wrong when you think about it.
I used to have this neighbor, back when I was in high school and living with my mom. He would routinely call our house and tell us that our dog was barking in the backyard. As if we didn't already know. Heck, I was letting her bark. It was the middle of the day. Finally I called the neighbor one day and told him that his wife was singing in the backyard. Well, she was. And I didn't particularly care for the tone. He hung up on me, but I thought it was funny. Anyway, there is no real way for us to tell if bark control collars are too extreme for our dogs or not. Therefore I give them a whopping thumbs down.
Bark Control Collars
I've been around dogs my whole life, so I know how important it is to correct bad habits before they develop into major problems. After housebreaking, I think the biggest problem I've ever faced with one of my dogs is constant barking and howling. Some people might say that this is just normal canine behavior and that our furry friends are just trying to communicate with us. I agree with this to a certain extent, but when a pet starts barking furiously at every car or person that passes by the yard, it can cause a lot of stress and annoyance. That's why I recommend bark control collars for problem dogs.
There are several different kinds of bark control collars on the market today, and the best one to use really depends on the personality or specific barking triggers of the dog in question. I always start with citronella bark control collars when I detect a potential problem in one of my pets. These products emit a steady stream of citronella spray when the dog is being excessively noisy. The spray stops once the noise stops. These bark control collars are generally regarded as the most humane way to correct this kind of bad behavior in a dog. If the citronella-based products don't work, I then move on to the electronic ones. Electronic bark control collars usually work better for tougher cases because they administer a shock of static electricity to help improve the dog's barking problem. The shock is harmless to the animal's health, but still works as a deterrent.
Whenever I need to buy a new bark control collar, I don't bother to check at the local pet stores. That's because I know that there are numerous websites that specialize in providing wholesale pet supplies directly to the public. They offer bark control collars and many other pet-related products for significantly less than I would pay at a regular store. Best of all, these discount pet supply websites don't place any minimum quantity restrictions on orders, so I can get great savings whether I need to purchase one bark control collar or several.
Well-behaved dogs make for much better companions and family pets. An animal that engages in uncontrollable barking is a nuisance to everyone within earshot, and should not simply be ignored. In order to preserve your own sanity, as well as that of your neighbors, I recommend using bark control collars to correct this kind of behavior.
